Your new role
We are looking for a socializer, someone who can leverage their experience to improve the visibility of our company through direct contact with our potential customers and the implementation of different strategies to build close ties with the public and boost lead acquisition.

What You’ll Do:

    ·         Performs quality legal work with very limited review, oversees entire matter files from case initiation, case strategy/planning, including regular status conferences with clients throughout the process until successful completion of the case. 

    ·         Meets with clients to determine case strategy based on their goals and the law. 

    ·         Assesses eligibility for relief from removal proceedings and represents detained and non-detained clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Court. 

    ·         Represents clients at USCIS interviews; prepares case strategy and clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony; oversight of court hearings and USCIS interviews. 

    ·         Drafts, reviews, and files appropriate court pleadings including legal motions, petitions and briefs; prepares appropriate immigration applications. 

    ·         Participates in trainings and works closely with staff to draft and implement program protocols, work-flow processes and case related policies and procedures. 

    ·         Responsible for legal operations consistent with the firm’s mission and principles while playing a key role in managing client relationships, oversees activities and production of the legal team while also working closely with the administrative team. 

    ·         Communicates with third parties, courts, and opposing counsel, delegating to Legal Team when appropriate. 

    ·         Participates in daily meetings with assigned support staff to collaborate on case strategy and determine case statuses, reports case statuses on a monthly basis to Firm Owner.

    Qualifications

    ·         Applicants must possess a J.D. degree from a School of Law accredited by the American Bar Association

    ·         Must be an active member in good standing of the bar of a state, territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

    ·         At least 5 years of experience post J.D. relevant to legal research and writing.

    ·         Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail.

    ·         Strong familiarity with legal research databases.

    ·         Proficient writer with the ability to appropriately apply case law.

    ·         Persuasiveness and reasoned judgement.

    ·         Complex case management skills.

    ·         Experience in immigration/appellate law is highly desired, but not required.

    ·         A writing sample consisting of legal brief or comparable legal writing authored by the applicant is required.

    Your New Role
    The ideal candidate must be committed Develop a legal strategy to promote the NCP position, analyzing the client's objectives and goals and presenting them in a briefing, coordinating effective communication to proactively address challenges: 
    • 1. Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison between the company and clients, ensuring smooth and effective communication.. Manage customer inquiries, requests and expectations in a proactive manner.
    • 2. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and manage the successful execution of projects according to client requirements.. Monitor deadlines and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations.
    • 3. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including preparation of reports, budget tracking and project documentation. Manage contract documentation and ensure accuracy in internal records.
    • 4. Problem Attention and Resolution: Proactively address any issues or challenges that arise during project execution, ensuring prompt and satisfactory solutions. Keep clients informed of progress and resolve any concerns effectively.
